The lock code protects the contents of your device from unauthorised use. If use of lock code is turned on, it needs to be keyed in when you turn on your device. Follow these instructions to change the lock code.
You need to turn on use of lock code before you can change it. Click here for information on how to turn on use of lock code.

Press Settings.

Press Passcode Lock.

Key in the current lock code.
Key in a new lock code.
Key in the new lock code again.

Exit

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.

Find "Change Passcode"

Press Settings.
Press General.
Press Passcode Lock.
Press Change Passcode.

Change lock code

Key in the current lock code.
Key in a new lock code.
Key in the new lock code again.
