Change phone lock code - BlackBerry Curve 9360

If the phone lock code is turned on, it needs to be keyed in when you turn on your phone. Follow these instructions to change the phone lock code.
You need to turn on use of phone lock code before you can change it. Click here for information on how to turn on use of phone lock code.

Step 1 of 10

Find "Password"

Press the Menu key twice.

Find "Password"

Scroll to Options and press the Navigation key.

Find "Password"

Scroll to Security and press the Navigation key.

Find "Password"

Scroll to Password and press the Navigation key.

Change phone lock code

Scroll to Change Password and press the Navigation key.

Change phone lock code

Key in the current phone lock code and press the Navigation key.

Step 7 of 10

Change phone lock code

Key in a new phone lock code and press the Navigation key.

Step 8 of 10

Change phone lock code

Key in the new phone lock code again and press the Navigation key.

Step 9 of 10

Exit

Press Disconnect.

Step 10 of 10

Exit

Press the Return key to return to standby mode.

Scroll to Password and press the Navigation key.

Change phone lock code

Scroll to Change Password and press the Navigation key.
Key in the current phone lock code and press the Navigation key.
Key in a new phone lock code and press the Navigation key.
Key in the new phone lock code again and press the Navigation key.

Exit

Press Disconnect.
Press the Return key to return to standby mode.
